Soldiers of God
If you think about it, we are all Lazarus's. Jesus, has to call us out of the darkness of sin when temptation haunts our thoughts and actions. When He does, we walk out new and the bandages fall off and we walk once again in the Holy Spirit. Salvation and hope for all sinners! He produces the miracle of Resurrection in us just like he did to the dead body of Lazarus. The stench of sin washed away from the fruit of a contrite Confession. We rise from our dark tombs to the Great light. That is why there is great rejoicing in the Heavens when even one soul is saved by His merciful love. We can hear His voice, if we listen closely to the priest as he utters the words, "I absolve you in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit". We, like Lazarus, rise from the dead again.
Remember, there is always a Martha and Mary praying for us and our loved ones. Whether it be here on Earth or abiding in Heaven. One can only be lost if we choose it.
Let us pray for the Salvation of all children of God. That means the whole human race. That our prayers ring out to Heaven, asking God to say, "Lazarus, come out!" May we rejoice in the saving power and mercy of God.
