St Ignatius of Antioch
Among so many amazing Saints, one of my all-time favorites is Padre Pio. His life from beginning to end entailed suffering, persecution, misunderstanding, battles with devils who beat him mercilessly, the stigmata and many miracles. The stigmata itself lasting for over 50 years. He could speak in multiple languages thanks to the help of his dear guardian angel whom he conversed with daily. He was able to see through Souls and surprised many by telling them they had not confessed all of their sins and then proceeded to tell them what they were much to their amazement and sometimes embarrassment. He is incorrupt and his intact body lies in a clear case for all to see it. He had the gift of bilocation (being in two places at the same time) and has had countless miracles occur due to prayers for his intercession in serious cases. He has many spiritual children. Those that consider him dear and quite influential with our Lady, Mary, and the most beloved Sacred Heart of Jesus. We have so many wonderful friends in all of the Saints. Our friends. Normal yet special human beings that walked this earth the way we do. Calling on those you feel drawn to, such as I do, to Padre Pio, is beneficial and gives much peace of mind knowing there is someone quite powerful to take our petitions to the throne of God Himself and to Mary our Mother.
If you get a chance, read up on this powerful Saint. You will draw close to him the way I have. After all, a Saint canonized him. Our beloved Pope John Paul II..
