Don't be fooled

     Artificial Intelligence, AI, makes it quite difficult to tell what's real and what is not real. As if we need more obstacles in our life. I don't care if I was 15, 30, or even 50 years old, I still wouldn't like it. It's sneaky. Just like that old snake that slithers round, trying to ruin our souls., scientists and those of quite bright minds applaud it. But remember what it says in the bible, "it is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick". The tools of the devil are vast and it is good to be watchful of these tools he can use to persuade us and convince us that it is real. Jesus is referring to us all. In our ailments of all kinds we pray for relief. Are we also praying when our souls are sick and in need of healing? Being able to recognize that time, to me, means you can't be fooled. Although in our sufferings, we may go down to the lowest of the lows, where confusion and pain can get the best of us. That is why we need to stay within the realm of God's good Grace and wear the shield of protection that Confession and the Holy Mass with the Eucharist can give us. You know when it's time to recognize you need salve for your heart and a bandage for your soul. Too many times, I remove the bandage before I'm fully healed and try to go it on my own. The bleeding slowly starts and I am once again in need of that great Physician of Heaven. When I remove my bandages too soon, I cannot see clearly. My mind and eyes are still infected by the fakes and imitators of this world. Confession is meant to open our eyes and lead us out those doors with a new Awakening that only Absolution and the Holy Eucharist can give us. But the evil one doesn't want it to last for long or his place on Earth will diminish fast. Thus, letting us encounter these fakes and imitators. Keeping ourselves protected with the shield of God's grace and the knowledge that can only come from Heaven, is the only way to differentiate the real from the fake. We must tell ourselves, especially in this day and age, to not be fooled and to pay attention and always follow Jesus. Where the only wool that is being pulled over one's eyes are on those who do not believe and who credit this world as the only one worth living for.
