I was thinking to myself what peace means. I mean, there's the absence of war conflict. But, what sort of conflict? If two countries are not at war, they are said to be at peace.
But, what about other types of peace?
As someone that spends much of my time with a six tear old girl and a ten year old boy, I don't get a lot of “peace and quiet”, which is unfortunate, as I am soneone who loves to read.
But, I'm not thinking of that type of peace.
I'm thinking of the peace that only Jesus can give,
"And he said to her; "Daughter, your faith has made you well, go in peace, and be healed of your disease". (Mark 5:34)
"As they were talking about these things, Jesus himself stood among them, and said to them, "Peace to you" (Luke 24:36)
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid”. (John 14:27).
