The Old and the New

No one cares to wear an old shoe

Better too for the feet when they’re new

Similarly for an old worn out sofa

Easier on a new to enjoy a cold soda

Jesus taught about old wine skins bursting

Caused by the process of fermenting

That’s why skins new are much better

They are able to expand and get fatter

Old items are dusty and worn

New items are pliable and not easily torn

Changing your ways is one way too

To rid yourself of bad habits we should all do

Jesus preached about new and old

Maybe we should listen and with trust in Him be bold
