Those Who Do Not See

So many walk with open eyes

Yet are truly unable to view God’s beautiful skies

Unable to see even to see the end of their nose

Hyperbole of course I suppose

But truth doth ring true and sincere

When most abide with eyes shut and a finger in each ear

Our Lord did speak on these which always exist

Our goal pray for their behavior to desist

Pray that all learn to give up their desires

To do the Will of God He Who truly aspires

Then will from blindness will they be set free

To live for ever with Him eternally
