Enter the Kingdom of your God
Face it; the past and future of Israel’s Safety is in God’s Plan of Eternity!
The wars that have been promulgated regarding Jerusalem and the strength of the Jewish people began when God sent Moses to save the Hebrews from Egypt. This nation was already his chosen people since they alone listened to the Creator. In spite of the many incidents that seemed to corrupt the doubts of the Jews pertaining to their trek towards the “Land Flowing with milk and honey,” God used different leaders to enhance his plan; like Joshua.
Moving us to 2025 and the different nations that have threatened to destroy Israel and remove the Jewish nation from this planet forever, we must bring this threat of another holocaust into our belief that this is not just another skirmish that has no bearing on the Old Testament.
There probably are a lot of current citizens who feel that these stories from the Old Testament no longer hold any truth that we should adhere to. After all, their understanding of growth in society must change in order to keep the progress of humanity on an even-keel. However, they must remember that God does not change. Moses and Abraham are two who asked God to withhold probable destruction against certain people. He did so with the Israelites at Mt Sinai but with Sodom and Gomorrah he did not; he would have done so if at least 10 just men were to be found. None were!
Reading into the Book of Revelation we see that the nations lining up for the final attack to wipe Israel off the map begin with Iran coupled with Russia, China, perhaps N. Korea and the other northern nations that are currently joining to become the last giant enemy of freedoms and points of righteousness on this planet.
The name of the Savior God was invoked only once in the year by the high priest in atonement for the sins of Israel, after he had sprinkled the mercy seat in the Holy of Holies with the sacrificial blood. The mercy seat was the place of God’s presence. When St. Paul speaks of Jesus whom “God put forward as an expiation by his blood,” he means that in Christ’s humanity “God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself.” (CCC 433).
And when one considers the future, God’s People of the Old Covenant and the new People of God tend towards similar goals; expectation of the coming (or the return) of the Messiah. But one awaits the return of the Messiah who died and rose from the dead and is recognized as Lord and Son of God; the other awaits the coming of a Messiah, whose features remain hidden till the end of time; and the latter waiting is accomplished by the drama of not knowing or of misunderstanding Christ Jesus. (CCC 840).
Fact is the whole world will suddenly discover that Israel is the only land given by God, pronounced by God to the Israelites of the final land given to them over all other lands on this planet. To destroy this gift given by God to the Jewish nation is a direct abomination upon his plan to always keep this nation uppermost close to his heart. The nations of the earth must know that their quest to destroy Israel will become their own manner of defeat in the end and final judgment upon themselves.
All current nations and especially the many universities that have joined with the Iranian declaration of destroying Jews are at a crossroads that will forever become the target of angelic retribution unless they turn back to God and denounce the treacherous demands of Iran. One choice only remains for them; seek from God, through his Son, Jesus Christ, his mercy on their destructive attitude towards the Jewish nation and its citizens here in the United States.
