Transformation

We’ve seen the movie and the toys

Transformer trucks and cars for both girls and boys

Games and toys can be educational

Even sometimes intellectual or spiritual

On a mountain many years past

An epic event occurred whose remembrance would last

The transfiguration of a man Jesus

Human and divine He came for us

That day to help further His cause

To three special Apostles whom then had pause

Jesus as spirit, and Elijah and Moses suddenly appeared

Oh and were they truly unnerved

Such a sight a true revelation

Jesus told them not a word or mention

Until such a time that would be necessary

After His Passion did they open finally

This is too our own final vision

Our hope is to be part of His Mission

Believe listen and pray

Have faith in Jesus our Lord every day

For we too will one day be transformed

By our Lord He Who formed

Love Him with all your heart

Today make this your start
