Somewhere a tear will fall

     The tears that fall from our eyes can be a great comfort to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary that are offered up in Union with the tears that they have shed. Any tear shed out of sorrow or joy or Thanksgiving, is a gift to God. It shows we have emotions and when offered up to God, He shows us "His" emotion of Love. Jesus cried. Mary cried... Like it has been said before,  "their tears are like sweet pearls, shed for the love of humanity".

     Some people have a hard time crying. They suppress it only to have it swell inside to finally burst into a rain cloud of drops. The more we suppress, the longer and harder the tears will flow until our Lord sees it fit for us to stop. Have you ever noticed how a " stroke victim " can cry quite easily and often? Those that never cried before are thrown into an overabundance of tears at the drop of a hat. They're true emotions come alive and spring forth as a reminder that their hearts are quite fragile when one once thought not to be. 

     A tear will fall today. Many tears will fall today. Washing away the hurt or at least comforting it. One could even say that the rain that falls from Heaven are tears from our Lord over a creation that once was beautiful in all of its aspects.

     Let us offer every tear shed, to God, for all the tears He has shed for us and is still shedding. For all those who are without love. For all of those suffering losses. For the hungry, the homeless, the countless babies who are aborted daily. Let us comfort Him by this small deed and give to Him who Reigns, our emotions of Sorrow, Joy, Thanksgiving and Love.
