How do we address the change in Morality?

What can any of us do to catch the manner of evil into a collective receptacle that will not release any immoral semblance against humanity? Keeping evil desires captive that use as power that can pull Christians on the fence to welcome the side of pleasure and greed as the one attribute that Satan has used since he was expelled from heaven.

We are living in an environment that no longer can just turn our heads and roll our eyes to the thoughts of a devil roaming around to snatch us away from God.

It is real and our pulpits must promote the fact that there is evil at every step we take and the pronouncements from Daniel and Revelation are not book-ends to fictional works to earn money. Their manner of warning is God’s final last-ditch effort to save those who do not believe why the Incarnation was even needed. Perhaps the thought of evil is just a word to enhance something to blame all insidious activity from people who are set on inhuman attacks on innocent citizens. At any rate, the signs of a growing populace is reflective of a cave-man environment where there never were laws made for a peaceful existence among neighbors.

The collection of outstanding attacks by many youths roaming the streets and acting like the 1920’s without any concern for the people who pay for their education through taxes and protection by the laws that stand as lawyers when they go wild. We always assumed it was Mafia type criminals that became the human element that were existing for their own selfishness for power and intimidation. Not so, any more. What has happened in our God-loving atmosphere that good people would no longer accept these ungodly events?

Watch the news and read the news-releases that make us shake at what is occurring on our streets, in our homes, and the disrespect to morals that are given us by Almighty God. (See the Ten Commandments -Dialogue - Dt. 5: 6 - 23). Are there any respectful people who will stand up and speak loudly against the disappearance of morality in our schools, the ant-police promotion from a Marxist regime that insists the world of Democracy is no longer wanted, and the exclusion of government regulation “Of the People, By the People, and For the people” (Lincoln’s Gettysburg address) still holds our belief in God?

Morality is no longer something that we all should adhere to since it requires a turning-away from any and all means of evil attractions. Where are these attractions? On the movie screens for one. The allowance of sexual-choices on young children without any parental interference, the school libraries with literature that promotes homo-sexual activities that should not be exposed to young children as legal and acceptable and the TV and internet that promotes anti-God philosophy. We are told that the formative years for children begin at 0 - 8 years of age. These are the years when children are placed in child-care centers until they reach school age. After that, the crucible has been set and the parents have no more control over what their child has already had; the impact of their future moral ability to discern right from wrong. Once the basis of any form of morality has been set in a child’s mind, the manner of changing this moral manner needs God’s grace that begins with parental guidance. Each of us must address this current change in morality!

One more suggestion that we must all find time to promote the change in morality; call on the Lord Jesus Christ as the strength to adhere to reaching out to be heard. Some may say that when Jesus returns during the Parousia all of this will be corrected. Not necessarily! Those of us must use our voices in some manner to turn over this decline of morality.

You may speak out at PTA meetings, inform those who doubt this truth, or even join the large group of authors on this site and write something yourself. There may be one person who doesn’t care about change that will hear or read from your input and become a believer.

You can become another spoke on the wheel of information that will save at least one more child who is being called by Jesus to join him in the Truth of salvation.
