Little Ones

Little One

So precious are you little one

A gift are you from God in Heaven

So wonderful and innocent are you child

So wide eyed inquisitive and beautifully mild

Upon your parents do you constantly rely

For food love and a diaper dry

How much we can learn from your innocence

Your total and utter reliance

You are whom we need to become

Only then will our Lord welcome

But harm you we must never do

Consequences then will we answer to

Remember we are all God’s children

We often forget this most necessary lesson

Become as a child again

And the Kingdom Doors will be open

Do not heed and it will not end well

With Satan where it’s never swell
