Same as it ever was

“Come, bless the LORD, all you servants of the LORD, who stands by night in the house of the LORD!
Lift up your hands to the holy place and bless the LORD!
May the LORD bless you from Zion, he who has made heaven and earth”!
(Psalm 134)
Okay, since this is the second shortest Psalm, I don't think I need to exegete too terribly much.
But, how often do you just praise God, simply for being God?
Not because of what he's done for you, although you should praise him for that, (May the LORD bless you from Zion, who has made heaven and earth), but, because of the fact, he is God.
Sometimes, praise doesn't need to be profound.
When you say “Thank God”, it can literally be just that, thanking God.
