Just talked to Him
Saint Helena, was the mother of the Roman Emperor, Constantine. She is venerated as a Saint for her true role of finding the "True Cross of Jesus". She founded many Churches and Monasteries. She is the Patron Saint of converts, difficult marriages and divorced people. She also is Patron of Achaeologists, as she traveled to the Holy Land, finding the True Cross of Christ. Her own conversion makes her a Patron of converts. Helena experienced a difficult marriage and an eventual divorce, making her a source of comfort and intercession for those who face these difficult situations.
She journeyed to the Holy Land in 326 AD, demolishing pagan temples and excavating the site of Golgatha, where she discovered Three crosses. The True Cross was identified when a sick person touched each cross and was miraculously cured by the third. Helena also found the nails of the Crucifixion and the Inscription over Jesus's head. She then had built, the "Church of the Holy Sepulcher", on the site of discovery and sent pieces of the True Cross to Rome and to her son Constantine.
This great Saint is revered as a mother. A warrior of the One True Faith. Of the cross of Jesus. Articles are still touched to this True Cross of Christ, thanks to this great woman's determination and faith in bringing it to all of us.
