Division

I have come to cause division said Jesus

To cause confusion amongst all of us

Why we wonder would He do that

Maybe to help point out our sin in fact

Maybe so we would necessarily

Want to change immediately

For an opportunity

To be with Jesus our Lord eternally

For there are those amongst us who will not change their way

And for them we’re taught always to pray

For hope springs eternal it has been written

That by our prayer they might change their action

And to offer the hope that we can all at anytime start anew

To force division within ourselves ans in what we do

Maybe then others will follow too

And not go off the deep end so awfully and terribly askew
