Tis the time to rejoice since Christ is come into our world
What is it that is guiding the evil of the AntiChrist who will become elected by non-believers?
This does not mean that the antichrist is running for election in some nation that all of us will vote as one world-wide community. By the time this scenario arrives we will all be under his control and the lawlessness that already is rampant throughout the world will raise its ugly head threatening people who still believe in Christ.
Any semblance of lawlessness is not a fearful entity that will surround the future world’s peacefulness; it’s already here. The current news of nine teens plotting to kill and follow through over a love affair of another teenager just makes the older generation shocked. Teenagers killing others over a passing thought of love that most disappear after a short period of time.
Today’s news is not a contrived script for a Hollywood block-buster. Each moment we hear of overnight shootings in cities that are paralleling Chicago of the 20’s. We don’t need to project the end times as Revelation describes. Jesus himself told his disciples that, “and because of lawlessness the increase of evildoing, the love of many will grow cold.” (Mt 24: 12).
Do we need to imagine these reports that have become the top stories, daily, are just a point to gain status for top network announcements?
Growing up, any disturbing activities between teenagers were usually words and ostracizing each other until the senseless silliness blew over. Guns and a plot to eliminate a teen over something so ridiculous as whose boy friend or girl friend was being ignored is even lower than an animal predator going after a baby of an opposite species. However, it is to be expected in a world that has completely pushed God away and seeks nothing but pleasure and greed at anyone’s expense.
When the antichrist takes over the world of commerce, government control, and a church without the Holy Spirit, those who are still here will be heard; They cried out to the mountains and the rocks; “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb, because the great day of their wrath has come and who can withstand it.” (Rv 6: 16 - 17).
The obvious falling away of so many church-participents has placed an environment of non-believers that is teaching our children that we no longer adhere to holiness and righteousness since they were your grandparents' beliefs that were buried with them. What are the new generations to understand regarding the churches that now have no one to attend without priests or other ministers? What about the old books they called bibles?
Are we to understand that this future that Jesus Christ assumed humanity and died and rose to eradicate and give us eternal life is at risk?
It has come and we are the last generation to keep the life of Christ alive in our hearts and souls.
