A closer look at Our Mother's Message to us!

A closer look at Our Lady of Medjugorje's* message September 2, 2016:

Dear children, according to the will of my Son and my motherly love, I am coming to you, my children, but especially to those who have not yet come to know the love of my Son.

Those of us who have been following Mother Mary’s messages for years are aware that she is coming to us according to the will of her Son. She reminds us that she loves us in a way that only a mother can. Yet Mother knows that not all have been following her. At this time, she chooses to include this reminder that Jesus is sending her to us and of her tender motherly love for every single person. Mother understands that today’s message may well be the first of her messages that some people have ever read. Let’s pray with our Dear Mother that all will come to know the love of her Son.

I am coming to you who think of me and who invoke me. To you, I am giving my motherly love and I am carrying the blessing of my Son.

See, Our Mother hasn’t forgotten those of us who love her dearly. Though we cannot come close to loving her as much as she loves us, by the grace we receive from her Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, we are capable of giving and receiving tremendous love. Joy to those who delight in the message Mother gives us from Medjugorje. May we be touched by the blessings of Our Lady. May we be grateful for the grace and blessings from her Son. May we behold with awe the supernatural gift given to all mankind of Mother’s messages of peace, love and hope and the promise of eternal life.

Do you have pure and open hearts, and do you see the gifts, the signs of my presence and love?

My Blessed Mother is speaking to me! For some time now my favorite Beatitude has been “Blessed are the pure of heart for they shall see God.” If I can imbue purity of heart by striving towards noble intentions and proper motives in everything I do, I believe all the other Beatitudes will fall into place. I will live the life God called me to live. I shall see my God. “Thank you Mother!”

“Yes Mother, ever since you called me to Medjugorje, I can see the signs and wonders you give to us! I’m grateful for the gifts you give to me; the gifts I receive since returning to the warmth of the Sacred Heart of Jesus; the gift of my burning desire to know God; and especially the miraculous gift of receiving Jesus in Holy Eucharist. Yes, Mother, I do feel the presence of your love. How blessed am I to have your motherly love!”

My children, in your earthly life, be led by my example. My life was pain, silence and immeasurable faith and trust in the Heavenly Father.

No one living has ever had so great a faith and complete trust as Our Mother has in the Heavenly Father. How many of us could silently bear her pain and suffering. It is incomprehensible!

Nothing is by chance: neither pain, nor joy, nor suffering, nor love. All of these are graces which my Son grants to you and which lead you to eternal life.

This is a life changing statement. It would do us all well to slowly read it over a few times. “Nothing is by chance: neither pain, nor joy, nor suffering, nor love. All of these are graces which my Son grants to you and which lead you to eternal life.” A seemingly impossible concept for our human minds to comprehend. A concept we can only begin to understand when we place our trust in God. If we ask, God will give us the grace we need to have unconditional love and trust in Him. This unconditional trust does not take away our free will when we freely place our trust in God and turn our will over to Him.

All of us must come to the point of providential trust on our own. However if anyone wishes to leave a question in the comments, I will give the best answer I can backed by what the Saints have to say on pain and suffering based on the inspired works of Holy Scripture.

Of you, my Son asks for love and prayer in Him.

Mother reminds us to pray, to pray in the name of Jesus Christ Our Lord who lives and reigns forever and ever. Over the years she has reminded us repeatedly of the importance of prayer for our salvation.

As a mother I will teach you: to love and to pray in Him means to pray in the silence of your soul and not only reciting with your lips; it is even the least beautiful gesture done in the name of my Son - it is patience, mercy, the acceptance of pain and sacrifice done for the sake of another.

Mother reminds us that our daily life, our whole life can be a prayer if we live the example Jesus gave us. Can we remember how merciful and compassionate, loving and accepting Jesus was of even the lowliest in society, the outcast and the sinner? And how much our Savior sacrificed for us? Can we love as Jesus loves? “Please Mother teach us to pray as you taught the visionaries when they were still children. Remember Holy Mother that we are all children spiritually.”

Please don’t misunderstand Mother’s message. It is pleasing to God for us to pray with the lips. Mother assumes we already do this. Mother wants us to expand our prayer life by encouraging us to do good, to accept pain and suffering and to love one another.

My children, my Son is looking at you. Pray that you also may see His face and that it may be revealed to you. My children, I am revealing to you the only and real truth.

It’s sad that Mother needs to remind us that she is revealing the only real truth to us but Mother is with us and knows our weaknesses. She knows even those strongest in faith suffer doubts. Jesus can see us and is looking at us. How wonderful is this image of Jesus looking at me. I must do the will of God to ensure that I may gaze upon the face of Our Lord when my time on earth is done!

Pray that you may comprehend it and be able to spread love and hope; that you may be able to be apostles of my love.

Is mother asking us to pray that we may be able to comprehend the truth? Yes, she is asking this of us but she is especially imploring this of the ones who don’t know Jesus. We need to pray for the grace to fully comprehend the truth. How else can we spread love and hope unless we know what the Mother of God is asking of us? to understand what we are called to believe? Remember, Mother is coming to us with the request to be apostles of her love. How can we refuse her?

In a special way, my motherly heart loves the shepherds. Pray for their blessed hands. Thank you.”

Mother’s messages over the years asking us to pray for priests has given me a greater appreciation of our shepherds. It’s easy to understand how our Blessed Mother loves priest in a special way. Priests represent her son on earth. God has generously given us the gift of priests to care for our spiritual needs, to sanctify us. It’s imperative that we pray for priests! I have long realized what a great privilege it is to shake the blessed hand of a priest. “Yes Mother, I will pray for their blessed hands.”

Mother’s personal message-

Although Mother’s messages are for all people of all nations, I believe that everyone who reads this message will receive a personal message from the Blessed Mother. How is this possible? It is possible because our Heavenly Mother is filled with the Holy Spirit. Because she conceived Jesus through the Divine Intervention of the Holy Spirit. Thus our pure and holy Mother is touched by the Divine and has the ability to give each of her children a personal message in every message she gives to the world. She knows what we’re thinking and what we need. She knows what will stand out to us as we read her message. Mother gives us a personal message while at the same time giving a general message of love and hope to the whole world.
