Is it Too Real to Talk about 'Death'?
Do not forget just who Christ is as we experience unwanted days
Some may say, “yesterday was a blessed moment in my life, but today the reception of grief and sorrow has presented itself to me.” Sounds like a common event that almost every family faces even as they call on Christ for a peaceful life. When our daily walk allows more bad news than the goodness of Christ to entertain the outlook of golden blessings there needs to be a sign of faith that will cover over the negative events that no one wants.
It can be a confusing life if the dark days that are certain to occur makes our trust in God’s constant blessings drift away like a wind that blows away our trust. Jesus warned his disciples that they would follow his passion through suffering, rejection, and for most of them martyrdom.
Jesus told his disciples, “You will be hated by all because of my name, but whoever endures to the end will be saved. When they persecute you in one town, flee to another. Amen, I say to you, you will not finish the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes. No disciple is above his teacher, no slave above his master.” (Mt 10: 22 - 2). By his very words Jesus gave warnings to prepare his followers
We should not allow negative events of the world or in our own being to set a path of despair for giving up on Christ who went through worse outcomes that any one of us might endure. It is a reminder that in this life, we all are an important part of, is important but not the final truth of why God created us. Perhaps the best scenario we may use to describe what awaits us is this is a test to prepare us for eternity. The line by line exam to pass this test is found in; (1) trusting in the promise that God has given each of us for eternal life. (2) Become thankful for the sacrifice that Christ became our sin freeing each one from suffering eternal death. (3) Sharing the love that is God with all that we meet. If we get these attributes correct, we get 100 % and find the graduation is more than we could ever imagine.
I am not indicating that this life is not important because it is. In spite of the many problems that occur a lot are instigated by other people who have not found the grace of God as faith is essential in all we do and believe. Jesus also mentioned the influx of false prophets and when they tell us that God doesn’t care about us, close your ears and run quickly from them and reach into the memory of what Christ left for us to adhere with.
Perhaps we might take a moment when disturbing entities enter our lives who are faithful and give some consideration to the many who are not prepared to allow faith to become their strength. If we claim to have faith that is strong in the midst of emotional and spiritual attacks we may be called to lift the weaknesses of those who walk in the darkness of doubt and unbelief. The Holy Spirit will no doubt call upon us to bring that understanding of faith that is close but not recognizable by them. We might just be given a call to be the one who helps save another’s soul.
