Most Rev Borys Gudziak

Archeparchy of Philadelphia
Chairman of the USCCB Committee on
Domestic Justice & Human Development
Your Excellency Arbishop Gudziak,
"My brother bishops and I are particularly mindful those among us who are already vulnerable—immigrant workers, farm laborers, low-wage earners, and young people—who often suffer the greatest effects of economic disruptions" [sic].
In light of the USCCB's reticence to address undocumented entry into the U.S., the concern about AI is both challenging and confusing,
Other than transfers of wealth, do you have specific economic suggestion, as your Harvard PhD seems to have many following your lead?
I confess that I am reminded of the old saying; "Nothing is impossible for the man who does not have to do it himself."
You appear to remain a tireless advocate for Ukraine's unwinnable conflict with Russia, rather than applying Catholicism's just war analysis. Why do we lay people not see even slightly comparable USCCB concern for the Islamic slaughter of Catholics in Nigeria? I pray that it's not the color of Nigerian Catholic skin leading to seeming USCCB apathy!
As a Roman Catholic, I am unfamiliar with whether you advocate Catholic teaching on the sanctity of human life and the sanctity of the transmission of human life anywhere close to as strongly as you advocate your own political opinions.
