Buried

With Him were we too buried

Our lives our thoughts unsorted scattered

Our sins our mistakes

Our hurts our heartbreaks

These our Lord Jesus took with Him in death

Though He felt the agony through His last breath

His willingness to do and follow commands

Allowed us to the choice to live in or out of His Hands

For though we were buried also that day

In only a a purely spiritual way

The results of His commitment and love

Are what He has showered upon us from above

Grace is what from His burial we did gain

To gain more sometimes requires great pain

But know that for us He did suffer more

To offer us an amazing eternity beyond His Realm’s door
