Throw Away

Our society is one we call throw away

Our motors break so we buy a new and the old we throw away

Our chair breaks so we buy a new and the broke we throw away

Our refrigerator breaks we buy a new and throw the old away

Our bed breaks we buy a new and throw the old away

Our relationship breaks we look for a new and throw the old away

Our marriage breaks we look for a new and throw the old away

How wrong can we be

So blind nothing right do we see

The only thing we should throw away

Is that which causes us to act so terribly

Our ego which is our pride’s energy

Our ego is what we need to throw away

The beatitudes is what we need straight away

The beatitudes yes daily every day

The beatitudes our Lord listed ten did He

The beatitudes our true spiritual energy
