As some of y'all know, I'm a little different (Life as an autistic Catholic), and, also, as some of you know, I found out one of my recent friendships wasn't what I thought it was (going back through possibly thousands of messages, emails, and phone calls, I've come to the conclusion I was mislead. Pray for her, and pray for her husband, Emotional Infidelity and culpability of sin).
So, how am I dealing with it? Especially on top of familial problems (no, I'm not married and keeping it a secret from a close opposite sex friend, trust me, if I was, all y'all would know). Well, I'm listening to more upbeat music (which, given I'm a rocker, is not the easiest thing for me to find), I'm praying for my friend's repentance, and an apology. Don't hide your marriage!
But, also, the same way I have for years. Taking comfort in scripture and in prayer.
The truth is, that I was probably always going to find out.
But, between the fact the day I am writing this is on the 11th of September, a day after Charlie Kirk (whom I was never a fan of, but dude don't do that)! Was assassinated, and having familial problems I can't get into, I leave y'all with this.
“Praise the LORD!
For it is good to sing praises to our God;
for he is gracious, and a song of praise is seemly,
The LORD builds up Jerusalem;
He gathers the outcasts of Israel,
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds”.
(Psalm 147:1-3)
My wounds WILL heals, but those scars will always be there.
September is a hard month for me. (Type O Negative-September Sun)
Pray for me. Pray for everyone I've mentioned.
