A Few Words About Our Blessed Mother on the 106th Anniversary of Her Appearance at Fatima
Two years ago, I began writing articles for Catholic365 and since then, they have been kind enough to post over 100 of my articles on the Catholic faith. Over the last several weeks, I have compiled these articles into a book and self-published it through Kindle Direct Publishing, a subsidiary of Amazon. Entitled Be a Light for Christ, my book is now available from Amazon at
For ease of reading, I organized the articles in the book thematically instead of chronologically. There are chapters on The Trinitarian God, the Blessed Mary, Saints, Popes, the Church in the Modern World, the Holy Rosary, and Church History. I write about people such as our new Pope Leo XIV, our dearly departed Pope Francis, Saint Bernadette, Blessed (now Saint) Carlo Acutis, and Venerable Fulton J. Sheen. I write about the Synod on Synodality, Pope Saint John Paul II’s Gospel of Life and his Crossing the Threshold of Hope, and Our Blessed Mother’s appearances at Fatima, Garabandal and Akita. I write about Jesus’s salvific life, death and Resurrection. These articles were originally posted on Catholic365 and can still be found there.
We live in a world of increasing darkness but there is hope because “the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5). We can help bring Christ’s light to this dark world. We can be a Light for Christ!
