Close the door on hate

We are meant to love not just those who agree with us, but those who don't. Love is precious, but love is not meant to be hoarded. We overuse the word, and yet we underuse the sentiment. We should have love in some form for all those who are around us. Every single person has worth, and every single person was made in God's image. As such, we are all capable of great good. Love is what fosters this, and we should not let hate enter our hearts. Much like a vampire entering a home in stories, they must be welcomed in. It does not simply appear; we welcome it. Close the door in your heart to hate and foster love instead; together, we can make the world a better place.
