Becoming Enslaved
Open your Heart; Then open your Mind
Words that sometimes do not filter into the senses of a man’s searching for something to read or hear. How often there are too many of us that wish to write or speak will become afraid to open our PC or stand before people and say the words that the Spirit is waiting for us to spread.
When God created man and gave him lips to speak and hands to write with, he didn’t just place them for looks. The attributes we are endowed with are there to reach into the future of his kingdom and use them to announce his compassion over sin.
Each person, man or woman, has another attribute that requires us to call out to back-sliders or fence jockeys trying to decide just what this decision to listen to or read from the words of evangelists about Christ. He came with one mission; telling sinners that God has forgiven them for their sins if only they would adhere to the call of listening through their ears or reading with their eyes.
It is a crucial event to try and follow the words of Christ when they come through you or me. The Holy Spirit always calls people who are ready to be evangelized; and he always sends many of us to spread the Good News (Gospel) by the very talents he gave us when preparing our gifts to speak and/or write. We cannot bury our heads in the sand by thinking we might not be good enough or able to reach these waiting souls that were sent to us and hear the gospel from Christ who is using our abilities to tell them what the Spirit is handing us as a script.
Just a few days past the world mourned the assassination of Charlie Kirk for doing this very effort to spread the Gospel of Christ. You and I also must stand up as he did to tell the world about the Son of God who gave himself over to the evil men in order to make his mission understood. We need not become martyrs but the effort of placing ourselves as fools for Christ and the meaning of the Cross at Calvary are the very tools that God wants us to use for his kingdom’s success.
We do not have the luxury of being blessed with the many talents we’ve been given and place them somewhere that no one will hear or read their effect on a waiting populace that could become lost without the gifts we have and use.
Never believe that you’re not gifted enough or are missing a series of letters behind your name that you think are the qualifications to write or speak. Somewhere and somehow the Spirit will use you since the quality comes from his touching you and giving you what will be needed when you are placed in a pulpit or in front of your PC.
