St Maximilian Kolbe
What a beautiful thing a rose is! It's different colors and scents can't help but make you feel Joy! Dear Saint Therese of the Child Jesus, among other wonderful Saints, attribute the beauty appropriately in their desire to represent a great gift from God.
Mary, our Mama, is the sweetest smelling and delight to the eye of all of the roses. Her maternal care and love for us is as comforting as the rose itself. For looking upon Her sweet face and knowing our petitions lie in Her fragrant hands is such a comfort.
It's a big deal to receive a rose! They are, to me, at the top of the most beautiful flowers God has created. Each petal receives great care in its creation. A symbol of love, comfort, peace, purity, and joy.
St Therese of the Child Jesus is especially dear to my heart. She was especially dear to my mother's heart also. My mother would receive roses from Heaven often. Out of the clear Blue sky. The scent of roses, at her departure, as the plane flew above us, was wonderfully smelt in the parking lot as we gazed upwards at her plane with our hearts aching that she was leaving us to go so far away. We were comforted by that sweet smell. And oh how sweet it was!
I believe in the power of our Saints and Saints in training. They are all around us. With their little signs and wonders sent from Heaven. We would only have to open our hearts to the heavens and the great knowledge that everyone up there is watching over us and guarding our path to we reach them again.
Send us roses from Heaven beloved friends and kiss the sweet feet of Mary, who walks through that Rose garden daily.
