The mighty guardian angel of the United States

     I want you to close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. While your eyes are closed, picture in your mind, a mighty legion of good angels from Heaven. Leading them, is a big and powerful angel. An Angel with a sword and shield. In back of him follows hundreds of warrior angels, also from Heaven. Alongside the starting angel, walks Saint Michael, the Archangel, banded with his sword and armor also. 

     There is a special, Mighty Guardian Angel for the United states. Designated by God Himself. He watches as the people of the US run amok and degrade our country with horrible sins. Also, he watches the prayers of the faithful. With fierceness in his demeanor, he protects those who ask for help in fighting off the evils of this world. His task is never ending until the end of the world. Where these legions of good angels will be led by Jesus Christ Himself. 

     Like the people in the desert, walking to the promised land, we get tired and hungry for relief. We amble aimlessly in circles when the direction is unclear and we are desperately in need of a route that leads us back into the sunshine. 

     By sacrifice, fasts, self-denial and prayer, we can actually feel the protection of this mighty band of angels. They want us to succeed. They are actually jealous in our ability to suffer for God. That's how much they love God. Offering up everything to the Almighty Father in Heaven, we gain their patronage and protection. 

     Call upon the Mighty Guardian Angel of the United states. Ask him to protect us from all evil and temptations daily. 

     Mighty warriors they are. Mighty warriors also are we!
