Charlie Kirk, Founder of Turning Point, Assassinated by Communist Lover
Remember, remember, the 4th of November is Election Day. All voters in good faith and conscience must show up at the polls.
There are state positions, municipal, and two gubernatorial races happening during this cycle that could set the tone for the 2026 midterms.
Special Elections for the House of Representatives
Following the death of Sylvester Turner, Governor Greg Abbot announced the special election for his replacement to take place on November 4th. The 18th district of Texas makes up downtown Houston. Will the Democrats hold or will it fall to Republicans to increase the red?
Gubernatorial Races New Jersey and Virginia
The Garden State will be electing Phil Murphy’s successor. So far, Mikie Sherril has lost ground after a scandal resurfaced on her involvement with cheating at the Naval Academy which removed her from walking with fellow cadets on Graduation Day.
Jack Ciattarelli, who came up short to defeat Murphy, is looking to flip New Jersey in favor of Republicans with his commonsense policies.
Meanwhile, Old Dominion could elect a woman to lead its commonwealth. Per the state constitution, Younklin is ineligible to run as the state does not allow consecutive terms for governor. However, Winsome Earle-Sears is looking to build on what he started as she faces former Representative Abigail Spanberger. Spanberger, a moderate Democrat, supports abortion, same-sex marriage, and war in Ukraine.
In addition to governor races, there are state legislative seats up for election during this cycle in both states.
Pennsylvania: State Supreme Court
Pennsylvanians have a chance to shake up its state court in November. Christine Donohue, David N. Wecht, and Kevin M. Dougherty are up for another ten years on the state bench. They have ruled in favor of COVID mandates and even allowed the genocide of abortion to continue in the Keystone State. Maybe it’s time to send them packing.
Pennsylvania will also have mayoral races in Allentown, Erie, Harrisburg, Lancaster, Pittsburgh, and Scranton.
Philadelphia will vote on the District Attorney, City Controller, and some city judges.
