Proud Demise

Proud Demise

To proud and selfish are we

That unless we’re the object of notoriety

Leave us alone go away from our sight our mind

So sad for we are truly so deaf and so blind

Jesus wants us every day

Yet allows us the choice of whether we will obey

Our eternal salvation is what we risk

Too bad we think we’re smarter and oh so slick

What if we just did His Will

Right now always not just until

Do you know this world would be better

And road to Heaven made truer

By alas so proud and not wise

This truly will be our demise

Pray for yourself and others

Pray to the Lord sisters and brothers
