My joy

     I'm ecstatic! I am joyful beyond all measure! My dear son-in-law came to me and told me he's starting classes to become a Catholic! He's almost 40, so that means that the desert he has been walking through, is now becoming that fertile, fruitful Greenland that leads him to Heaven. My joy! 

     I took to Matthew the moment I met him 15 years ago. His wild eyes, crystal blue prisms that shone brightly and his smile was completely contagious. I thought to myself, "so this is who my Annie wants to spend the rest of her life with," and so began a journey of love, blessed with the Sacrament of Matrimony at the St Joseph's Catholic Church. His reverence for our religion, even then was evident. His curiosity and his endeavor has only grown through out the years and I am proud to say, my joy for him, is one of love and respect. With all of life's challenges and heartbreaks comes the outcome of Joy, in a soul, that has searched and now found the real reason for his existence. I am proud to call myself his, "other mother" and I ask our God to bless this man all the days of his life. 

     Tell the world about the joy God can bring. When you become officially one of His children. 

     Like a Father, with outstretched arms, He welcomes you Matthew.....and that is my joy.
