Before Time
Through the absence of sin will we become holy children of God?
Does that mean that no one can really attest to the belief of being adopted as brothers and sisters of Christ is possible? Not at all since the Passion of Christ made the channel of grace the very probability for each of us to reach the Beatific Vision.
Throughout the spectacle of itinerant preachers telling those who would listen to repent, the words fell at the feet of more than we could ever believe. “From that time on, Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Mt 4: 17. “This is the time of fulfillment. The kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” (Mk 1: 15).
In spite of all the preachers who promote these words we find far too many who are seeking and living a new way of finding a god who does not have the truth within their deity. Promoting salvation is the only aspect of finding who the True God is and his Incarnation to prove he is real and the essence of eternal life forever. Out of somewhere and in a way that behooves our current thinking and what is necessary to find that mercy has become a fantasy to some and the very falsehood of the evil practices of satanic ventures causing many to succumb to lives without hope.
Yes of course if there is no sin then the very premise of God’s creation would have been a perfect adherence into eternity. However, as I wrote before indicating that opposites do exist we find that with the Goodness of God and his divine love, evil found a way into the lives of mankind. Now, we are in the fight for our spiritual life and only through the total concern of God shall we all find his blessings are on our side.
One might ask the insidious question regarding the angels who supposedly were God’s companions to worship him and give praise for their creation could falter and allow pride to enter into their existence as well? They, the same as humanity, were given that freedom of free will and as we know Lucifer, the most beautiful archangel decided to challenge the Lord to become like God, or even better. This is the very tenet that we see in the 21st century that began with the disobedience of Adam. We are all stuck in the pathway of evil’s hold on us; it is only through the Grace of God ,through our faith, that we are given the ability to believe in our Creator.
Realistically we have reached that point of severe lawlessness predicted in Matthew's Gospel; “Many false prophets will arise and deceive many; and because of the increase in evildoing, the love of many will grow cold.” (Mt 24: 11 - 12). Some scripture interpretations use the word lawlessness and is a better description of what is occurring right now. Almost daily we are hearing of shootings around the country and violence through anarchy is appearing in most cities that are refusing Federal Police forces including the National Guard for assistance. Their reason is they are able to handle the state’s problems. However, they aren’t.
We are in deep trouble when people who profess to be followers of Christ quit believing in what his warnings were about and we place a curtain in front of our good senses and bury our heads in the sand.
