Upcoming Book Releases Addresses Feminism and Manhood
Philadelphia was rocked by the news of the recent homicide after a young caregiver, Kada Scott, went missing for two weeks. Her search came to a horrific conclusion when her body was discovered near an abandoned school. Her killer, Keon King, was arrested and charged with homicide, kidnapping, and a myriad of charges.
As an Instagram account shared, Scott was known for "her quiet strength, kindness, courtesy, and a strong sense of purpose. She was beautiful, bubbly, and bold with goals that she was determined to accomplish.”
Tragically, Scott was not just a victim of violence but also a broken justice system. The Philadelphia District Attorney, Larry Krasner, has released King in his program known as “catch and release,” which allows violent offenders to be caught but no charges are filed, or they are let go by a judge to do it again.
Krasner, first elected in 2017, has allowed crime to skyrocket. Homicides rose 50% and gun assaults increased by 54% by 2020 compared to 2017. In 2021, as he was re-elected for a second term, Philadelphia set the record of 500 homicides first held in 1990. 500 homicides happened in 2022 again. All because Krasner failed to enforce the law. Now, he is seeking a third term as District Attorney of Philadelphia.
Krasner has come under scrutiny for how he has handled crime in the last seven years on the job. It boils down to a progressive donor named George Soros, who has funneled money into the race time and time again to allow progressive politics to destroy the well-being of US citizens.
St. John XXIII reminds us, “A civic society is to be considered well-ordered, beneficial and in keeping with human dignity if it is grounded on truth.”
Krasner has failed to protect the millions of citizens in Philadelphia from harm. If he had done his job by putting Keon King in prison, Kada Scott would be alive today.
To my fellow Philadelphians, we can do better when we vote. Remember all who were murdered because Krasner mishandled justice.
Pray for our great city, pray for the victims, pray for justice, and vote for the candidate who will uphold the law while locking up violent criminals to prevent another tragedy like that of Kada Scott. Help a community heal from this miscarriage of justice by raising awareness. Support her family.
Justice must be served.
