Who is Our Neighbor: Works of Mercy and Eucharistic Power
God loves us with an infinite love and longs to have that loved returned by human beings, the masterpiece of His creation. A new era is beginning in which God will give the gift of living in His Divine Will to those who desire and ask for it and surrender their own will in exchange. When the gift is given, the creature’s acts become one with God’s eternal action and everything one does becomes an eternal divine act. The gift of the Divine Will has been part of God’s merciful plan of salvation for all eternity. As more people learn about and receive the gift, the earth will be transformed and the fulfillment of the central petition of the Our Father--Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on earth as it is in heaven--will be realized. This gift will bring about total transformation of the earth into a Kingdom where God’s Will shall be done on earth as in heaven, which had been God’s heart for humanity from the beginning.
History of Heaven’s Revelations
Under obedience to her confessor, Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta, (1865-1947), a mystic and victim soul from Corato, Italy, wrote a 36-volume diary describing her mystical encounters with Jesus and Mary. For Luisa to do this is itself remarkable because she only had 2 years of formal education. Current Archbishop Leonardo D’Ascenzo of Trani-Barletta-Bisceglie in Italy said this about Luisa’s writings, “These texts came forth from and have been watched over in the bosom of the ecclesial communion.” From: For Clergy: Bishops, Priests, and Deacons: The Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta (1) available at https://www.servantofgodluisapiccarreta.com/divine-will The name Jesus gave to Luisa’s 36-volume work is:
“THE KINGDOM OF THE DIVINE WILL IN THE MIDST OF THE CREATURES
Book of Heaven
The call to the creatures to the to the order,
to the place, and to the purpose
for which they were created by God.” (2)
As explained in the introduction of the temporary English translation of the Book of Heaven, The Nihil Obstat was granted to the first 19 volumes of Luisa’s diary by one of her confessors, the now St. Annibale (Hannibal) Maria Di Francia, in 1926. Following her death, Luisa’s writings were stored in the Vatican Archives for almost 60 years until they were made available on February 2, 1996 (Feast of the Presentation) to the Tribunal for the Cause of Beatification of Luisa. In 1997, two prominent theologians, Rev. Antonio Resta and Rev. Cosimu Reho, both gave positive verdicts on her writings. Another review was conducted by two Vatican appointed theologians that over a nearly 3 year period, ending with the news of a positive verdict on July 23, 2010. In June, 2024, The Dicastery of the Doctrine of the Faith granted a Nihil Obstat for Luisa’s cause for canonization to resume in June 2024. As one can see, Luisa and her writings have been carefully evaluated on multiple occasions and nothing has been found to be contrary to the faith. In an August 10, 2024 letter (3), the postulator for the cause, Monsignor Paolo Rizzi, stated that although Luisa’s writings contain no doctrinal error, there remain some ambiguities due to mysticism and language that need to be addressed in the preparation of the official translation. In this letter, Msgr. Rizzi said “According to the instructions of the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints, the continuation of the canonical path, already in place, must necessarily be accompanied by the publication of the typical and critical edition of Luisa Piccarreta's writings by the actor of the Cause, the Public Association of the Faithful “Luisa Piccarreta-P.F.D.V” of Corato, and under the supervision of the Archbishop of Trani-Barletta Bisceglie.” Once this official translation is released, use of all other translations will be discontinued. As we eagerly await the release of the typical and critical edition (official translation), we can use make use of temporary English translations that have been completed to learn Jesus’ Holy teachings about His Divine Will. Jesus says that delaying the reign of His Will causes Him great suffering (Book of Heaven (BH) Vol.14, 7-16-1922; BH Vol. 25, 10-10-1928) (2). Even while Jesus was still on earth He said, “I came to set the earth on fire and how I wish that it were already blazing! (Luke 12:49) (4). The Divine Will revelations have been given to us to set the world ablaze with the love of Jesus.
Jesus tells us that the power and effects of living in the Divine Will are hard to imagine. Jesus told Luisa: …” once My Will has risen completely within you, you will find true love—and this is the greatest of all the other sanctities to which one can aspire.” (BH, Vol. 7, 1-20-1907) (2). He said living in His Divine Will is a Sacrament which surpasses all other Sacraments (BH, Vol. 12, 12-26-1919) (2). He told Luisa: “My Daughter, you cannot comprehend all the value that an act done in My Divine Will contains.” (BH, Vol. 31, 12-6-1932) (2), and “You cannot comprehend the power that a soul who has the sole purpose of pleasing Me has over My Heart, in drawing Me to herself (BH, Vol. 2, 8-21-1899) (2).Through living in the Divine Will, “the Third FIAT (Sanctification) will bring to completion the glory and honor of the FIAT of Creation and will be the confirmation and development of the fruits of the Redemption.” (BH, Vol 12, 1-24-1921) (2). Jesus said …”these writings shall be for My Church like a New Sun that shall rise in Her midst; and drawn by Its Blazing Light, creatures shall apply themselves in order to be Transformed into this Light, to become Spiritualized and Divinized in such a way that, as the Church will be renewed, they shall transform the face of the earth.” (BH, Vol.16, 2-10-1924) (2).
Jesus promises great graces and abundant light to those make these writings known, and that the time when the Kingdom of the Divine Will is made manifest is relative and conditional to when creatures dispose themselves to receive a good so great and the sacrifices by those called to make it known. (BH, Vol. 24. 8-2-1928) (2). Jesus said His Divine Will already wants to reign on earth and He will deposit this Celestial Doctrine in His ministers as to New Prophets and Apostles of the Kingdom of the Divine Fiat; that they (clergy) will be Its Trumpeters, transmitting It into the midst of peoples, much as the prophets and first Apostles were the heralds of the Kingdom of Redemption (BH, Vol.19, 6-15-1926, BH Vol. 20, 11-6-1926, BH, Vol. 23, 1-18-1928, and BH, Vol 25, 1-13-1929) (2). Jesus also gave this warning: “if they do not occupy themselves as much as they can with what regards My Divine Will, they themselves would be the cause of a good so great being neither known or received by creatures; and to suffocate the Kingdom of My Divine Will, to keep suspended a good so great, such that there is no other similar to it—is this perhaps not a crime?” (BH Vol. 25, 1-13-1929) (2).
God has been patiently and lovingly prepared humanity for His Kingdom to reign on earth from the time of Adam and Eve. We have assurance that the Father will restore the human race to the Kingdom of His Divine Will through His Son, Jesus, and by the power of the Holy Spirit because Jesus has asked for this and His prayer is always answered in reality. Jesus has promised that the more fervently we ask and yearn for It and dispose ourselves to receive It the sooner It will arrive. This is the most amazing news since the Incarnation and Redemption. Receive, believe, learn, and spread the word!

Activities of Living in the Gift of the Divine Will
Some of the basic activities of living in gift of the Divine Will are the prevenient act, or morning offering in the Divine Will, Acts in the Divine Will, and Rounds in the Divine Will. Life in the Divine Will brings happiness and contentment. Life will not be free of suffering, but knowing that everything happening to them is the Will of God allows a soul to find peace in all life’s circumstances.
Prevenient Act (A Morning Offering in the Divine Will). There are several versions of the prevenient act. This prayer is the first act of one’s day, offering everything that will be done that day to the Father united with Jesus, in His Will and for God’s glory. Below is a beautiful excerpt from one popular version of the prevenient act. The full prayer can be found at: https://queenofthedivinewill.org/morning-offering-the-prevenient-act/
“I am nothing. God is All. Come Divine Will. Come Heavenly Father to beat in my heart and move in my will. Come Beloved Son to flow in my blood and think in my intellect. Come Holy Spirit, to breathe in my lungs and recall in my memory. I fuse my in the Divine Will and place my I love You, I adore You and I bless You God in the Fiats of Creation. With my I love You my soul bilocates in the creations of the heavens and the earth: I love You in the stars, in the sun, in the moon and in the skies; I love You in the earth, in the waters and in every living creature my Father created out of love for me, so that I may return love for love.”
Acts in the Divine Will. As we seek to live in the Divine Will, we unite each act of our day to the one eternal act of God. We ask Jesus to complete the act with us and in us to give the greatest glory and honor possible to the Father. One might say: “Jesus wants to ______, so I will do _______ together with Him.” (BH Vol.11, 8-14-1912) (3). Or one may ask Jesus to think in my thinking, pray in my praying, drive in my driving, speak in my speaking, etc. The soul can also offer to the Father his/her own suffering or that of another, uniting it with the sufferings of Christ on the cross for the reparation of sin, salvation of souls, and God’s glory. (4)
Rounds in the Divine Will. Rounds are prayers that gather acts of past, present, and future souls, uniting them to the Divine Will and Jesus’s own acts with love, and offering these lovingly to the Father together with Jesus for The Father’s glory. Moving acts of others into the Divine Will perfects them and gives God the glory that was due to Him for acts originally done outside of the Divine Will. During our rounds, acts from the past that may have been done without proper intention or with insufficient charity can also be repaired and redone to give the Father greater glory then when the original act was done.
Rounds also include giving voice to parts of creation that do not have a voice of their own. The soul prays with words that creation might say to God to praise Him. We speak words of praise to God for the sun, wind, ocean, animals, or whatever part of creation we desire to give Him praise, using Luisa’s words or our own.
There are lots of examples to help us learn how to do acts and rounds on the Internet and on YouTube. One good resource is the Divine Will Dropbook Series (5) which describes them simply and with illustrated examples.
Benefits of Living in the Divine Will. What can one expect when one receives the gift of living in the Divine Will? The Book of Heaven (2) and Divine Will Dropbook Series (5) indicate the following blessings from living in the Divine Will:
Divine Will Teachings
Some basic revelations that come from the Book of Heaven about living in the Divine Will are provided below:
Humility and Confidence are Essential. Jesus told Luisa: “If you knew how much I like humility… Humility is the littlest plant that can be found, but its branches are so high as to reach Heaven, wind their way around My throne, and penetrate even into My Heart. This little plant is humility, and the branches that this plant produces are confidence, so, there cannot be true humility without confidence. Humility without confidence is false virtue.” (BH Vol. 2, 4-3-1899) (2).
Studying the Book of Heaven is Essential. “The more knowledge one has about the Divine Will, the more value his acts acquire.” (BH, Vol. 13, August 25, 1921) (2).
We Become Living Hosts. “Jesus forms His real life, not Mystical life, in the soul who lives in His Will, as in a living host” (BH, Vol 16, 11-5-1923) (2).
Yearning for the Kingdom to Come. Our earnest prayers for the Kingdom to come must become a continuous cry to God. (BH, Vol. 33, 5-31-1935) (2); An Introduction to Living in the Divine Will, pg. 92 (6).
Criers Needed. The Divine Will is not yet reigning on earth as it is in heaven because there are not enough “criers” sacrificing their lives to make the gift known (BH, Vol. 26, 8-25-1929; Vol. 24, 8-2-1928) (2); An Introduction to Living in the Divine Will, pg. 94 (6). Jesus desires that priests be the primary heralds, trumpeters, criers, and teachers of these holy lessons. (BH, Vol. 19, 6-15-1926; Vol. 13, 12-5-1921; Vol. 23, 1-18-1928; Vol.20, 11-6-1926) (2).
