All Saints Day; Standing on the Edge of Eternity
Understanding the Depth of God; Listening to His Word - His Son Jesus Christ
From Everlasting God IS! To Eternity God Will Be! Who is it that has not heard? Maybe one who is reading this expose’ on salvation. What about those in hell? Was it the scream I heard at 3 A. M, during prayer that the Lord told me came from the depth of hell?
To answer much of this question we need to take to heart the words of Malachi; Thus says the Lord God: Lo, I am sending my messenger to prepare the way before me; And suddenly there will come to the temple the Lord whom you see, and the messenger of the covenant whom you desire. Yes, he is coming, says the Lord of hosts. But who will endure the day of his coming? And who can stand when he appears? (Mal 3: 1 - 2).
Lo, I will send you Elijah, the prophet, before the day of the Lord comes, the great and terrible day, to turn the hearts of their fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers. Lest I come and strike the land with doom. Lo, I will send Elijah the prophet, before the day of the Lord comes the great and terrible day. (Mal 3: 23 - 24).
We only need to look into the depth of eternal life and from this entity of life we’ll find the meaning that resounds over and over into the realm of our Creator. It is here that the Psalms are specific in bringing to fruition all that He IS.
Our God comes, he keeps silent no longer. Before him fire devours, around him tempest rages. He calls on the heavens and the earth to witness his judgment of his people. “Summon before me my people who made covenant with me by sacrifice.” The heavens proclaim his justice, for God himself is the judge. Ps 50: 3 - 6). This could be a preface to what is about to occur in our history.
It is Imminent says the Lord that we reach out to those who have not heard the Word. The person in hell that got my attention with that scream possibly did hear the Word, but the attraction of evil took their faith and destroyed it. Now the reality of the Passion of Jesus Christ becomes a matter of salvation to those who heard and believed.
We have a mandate to read and understand the words of Scripture where each of us is being sent to preach, write, and/or just be there for those who are waiting to learn about our Salvation. It is apparent that when the Holy Spirit confirms the need is imminent to gather lost souls it isn’t just a thought to be considered, it is a mandate from the Lord.
