St Paul

     I love Saint Paul! I love all of the Holy Saints, but there are certain ones who give me such comfort. Such hope. As I try to live my life in Christ. 

     Paul, who was Saul, fought with all he had in him at first with murder and justice in his heart, as he thought he dignified a cause for righteousness. Having to be taught that it was God he was hurting, came a drastic Holy conversion, that changed him from Saul to Paul. Apostle of the One True God. In his preaching about this conversion and the truth, he received many scourges and fearful moments. All the while, running the great race, with honor and knowledge that his crown in Heaven awaited him 

     The readings today include the great sermon he related to all of us. Simply, that if we follow Jesus, we have a crown waiting for us also. Let us run the great race with perseverance and determination to finish, all the while seeing the white line ahead of us as we approach to the end. Jesus, and Saint Paul, by our sides, helping us each step of the way.
