Who is it that brought my citizenship to fruition?

As I listened to the words of my parents it appears that their parents came into America on ships; from Italy for my maternal grandparents and from England for my fraternal grandparents. Unless our heritage originated from American Indian peoples we are all citizens of foreign nationalities.

The plight of many nationalities immigrating from the shores of Europe, Asia, or Scandinavian nations had it tough in the early years of settling and making a life for their families. My mother used to tell me how Italians were always looked down on and showed their distaste by constant hatred and were in fact recommended to go back where they came from.

Coming to America became the outcry of immigrants then as well as now in 2025. That call seems to be the desires of millions across the globe who are attempting to find acceptance by our government. The one criterion that allowed our grandparents access to our nation is they all entered via the correct manner to seek and work at becoming U.S. Citizens.

We, who are generations after our grandparents, wonder why there is so much controversy over a simple exercise of seeking and asking for an opportunity to do the same and become American Citizens.

Well of course, there is a method of being accepted by our laws under the Constitution of the United States to ask and work at doing everything according to our by-laws. There are several people in Washington D.C. that have other ideas. Most of them are now out of juridical authority but have left a bad taste in our mouths that may lead to a type of jurisdiction that has brought down the nation of Cuba, 90 miles from our shores.

Whom can we put the blame on for the threat of becoming a Communist nation with people who threaten the rest of us with a Marxist ideology?

Stand up and look at President Biden’s Administration and the members of the far-left Democrats that had no more concern for this American dream of peace, freedoms guaranteed, and the rights of religion and keeping God in our schools and homes as well. The Clintons, the O’Bamas, and the followers of their ideals went too far and even now are supporting Mamdani’s promise of destroying what the Bill of Rights stands for.

Keeping Immigrants out of the country until each one follows the correct manner to enter this nation, legally, and as Americans after the method of proper manners of doing it right. My grandparents did it correctly as I am sure yours did the same.

Getting into the United States requires doing what is expected of anyone who wasn’t born here. Getting into heaven has the same criteria of preparing our souls to follow the Passion of Christ and accepting the free gift of grace that only requires our faith. Every effort of finding the door into Paradise is not a “come and get it” theory. The efforts of crossing the U.S. Borders is also not a “come on in and do what you want under the Democrat’s idea of changing the Constitution for a Marxist regime.

One other concern we must adhere to; too many young people who are at the voting age have no idea what a communist regime will be like. If they believe that this is like a fantasy that has no possible good ending, go ahead, vote for a Socialist run government and reap the evil of discontent and end up just like Cuba did under Fidel Castro.

Never forget, we are a sovereign nation as Heaven also is sovereign under Almighty God. And it is a poor statement for anyone in government or religion to say it’s ok to let everyone in. Find me one Scripture passage that allowed anyone to enter the Holy of Holies where the Ark of the Covenant was restricted only to the head priest, once a year. God set the restrictions because he got obedience from the Hebrew nation. Was that a misnomer?
