Our Family Tree
When the darkness of night seems overwhelming and sleep returns only in tiny moments, we call upon them in prayer. When your eyes are red from crying tears of pleading for release of suffering for ourselves or someone we love, the Holy Souls in Purgatory can come to our rescue. They're waiting. Waiting in a place where sleep is no more. Awaiting there entrance, awakening them into Heavenly Glory. Waiting for us to ask for their help, so that they're suffering can be quenched by their intercession to God to help not only us, but themselves. Breaking the chains that bind them from the Holy Face that will complete their Purification. Only by our prayers and allowance to help them can they achieve this. They are Saints on hold.
It is good that we help them. Pray for them. Offer up Rosaries, Masses and sacrifices to help them. Their bodies may have perished, but their Souls still linger in suffering. We must pray for all Souls in Purgatory. Every single soul that is spared by God's Eternal Love, waits. The levels of Purgatory are designated by God to which our sins on earth have put them there. The sorrow and loss of once beholding the Holy Face is lost for a time and it is said to be excruciating because it is so beautiful to see. We must pray for them.
Some have been there for quite some time because they have been forgotten. Some stay for a short time, because those loved ones have remembered them in Masses. The highest honor that can be performed for those who have died. Because the cleansing fire of Purgatory is just that. It cleanses a soul so that it can enter like a Golden Amber from the fire. Our love never really dies for a loved one. It is enforced by our prayers and good deeds while we still await our final judgment.
Oh Holy Souls in Purgatory, intercede for us! We love you! By our prayers for you, we wish you true Peace, your Eternal reward in Heaven. The Peace of Heaven. This is our gift to you and in doing so please pray for us. So that we may join you in Heaven one day to sing with you and the Heavenly Court. To the God who is all Love and Mercy. Hallelujah! Purified by the same sufferings of the Passion of Jesus Christ, be cleansed by our prayers for you, and rejoice! We call you by name and ask for you to love us back so that we can all be together someday in the Presence of God Himself, forever.
