The Best
All Are Invited
Grab those who are struggling
Yes even thief’s and those struggling
Don’t forget the disabled and lonely
And tell all its a feast not bread and baloney
Yes it’s time we fed all our sisters and brothers
Not just with scraps but meat and potatoes
Not canned items or fish
But maybe vegetables and homemade relish
And don’t forget the lavish desserts
Cakes pies tarts ice cream and sherbet’s
Oh and probably the most important item
Tell them how God led you to them
How He demands you make them part of your lives
For we are all His and not just the strongest survives
No the weak and the old
The blind and lame too we’re told
So let’s think about a weekly party
Where all are invited the slow and Mr smarty
Where all are welcome and all share
In the House of God His House of prayer
From there gather daily
Don’t be shy or lazy
Invite someone to a meal or a show
Or a walk in the park and watch the leaves blow
We are all part of His Family
Under the Canopy of the Blessed Trinity
Amen
