Let’s Leave Out the Shoes for the Three Kings
“I have asked you. They have asked you, and she, My Mother, has asked you. Will you refuse to do this for Me?” Jesus’ words to St. Teresa of Calcutta in a vision (1)
In marketing, this expression is very common. It is used when there is a sale that is about to end or when a company is offering a promotion that is about to expire. I’m not selling anything nor am I offering a promotion, but I decided to borrow this marketing expression. This is your final call to join the Marian Consecration, which begins in just two days, November 5th. This invitation is not coming from me. You are being invited by Jesus Himself because He wants you to fully commit your life to Him.
This journey will take no more than 30 to 60 minutes of your day, and it will be a great way to prepare your heart for Advent and the birth of Jesus on Christmas Day. It will also get you very close to Mama Mary, who will be happy to guide you to Her Son.
Some of you will embark on your first Marian Consecration, while others will be renewing it. No matter where you are, this will be an exciting and unprecedented experience for you. If this is your first time, and you want to know why you should do a consecration, you can read my previous writing here:

Our bilingual (English/Spanish) program starts on November 5th and ends on December 8th, Feast of the Immaculate Conception and our Consecration Day. Each day we will post readings from Father Michael Gaitley’s book: “33 Days to Morning Glory” and related YouTube videos. You may want to buy the book, but you don’t need to. We’ll post a PDF copy on the Consecration WhatsApp chat.
“33 Days to Morning Glory” highlights the Marian Consecration of four great saints:
- St. Louis de Montfort’s passionate insistence on the totality of the gift of self;
- St. Maximilian Kolbe’s mystical intuition about the interior union of Mary and the Holy Spirit in the life of a consecrant;
- Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta’s experience of Mary drawing us into her heart, where Jesus keeps repeating “I thirst”; and
- St. Pope John Paul II’s understanding that consecration to Mary brings us to the source of merciful love — the Divine Mercy poised to transform the world.
This is your final call to join hundreds of other pilgrims on this spiritual journey. Will you accept Jesus’ invitation to consecrate yourself to Him through His Mother?
