Thank You

Do we  thank those who’ve aided us

In little or big things such as healing lepers as did our Lord Jesus

Do we offer any sort of gratitude

Or do we assume we deserved it so wrong and rude

Sometimes a thank you can can make somebody’s day

It’s really not that hard to say

To the Amazon delivery person

Or a waiter or waitress or the mailman

We’re so accustomed to their service career

Pleasing us and giving us cheer

That we forget they are people too

Its time we remember to say thank you
