The Harvest

The Harvest

Will I be harvested with the weeds or the hay

It comes down to more than a solid effort to pray

It involves a whole life changing process in every way

The biggest is doing our Lord’s Will and avoiding our urge to play

Even then it comes down to fortitude and diligence

Putting in the time and effort with patience

It’s learning from my past sins and calamities

Forgiving those who harm and loving my enemies

Our destination we do not know until our end time

When our life clock has given its last chime

Then will we be at our judgment

With Jesus offering our life’s testament

Change your lifestyle sooner than later

For the day if reckoning might make you stammer

For if you have not reconciled with God and your neighbor

You will end up in that place of constant pain and terror
