To The Heretical German Bishops: Vergessen Sie!

While some German bishops publicly distanced themselves from their Bishops’ Conference’s document on “diversity of sexual identities” for Catholic schools, the very audacity of this betrayal of Truth and skewing of authentic love repulses faithful Catholics. The 48-page text, tentatively titled (English)  “Created, Redeemed, and Loved:  Visibility and Recognition of the Diversity of Sexual Identities in the School” is nothing but a weak and pathetic aversion, if not denial, of increasingly flagrant  sexual sins that have led society to the brink of self annihilation.  

 
A general review of content indicates negation of timeless Church teaching;  a lack of both hindsight and foresight based on Church history and her holy ones through our current century; and foolish avoidance of  causation and impact of an ever grosser distortion of the human person and world in general.  Worst of all, the City of God, our true native land, drops from spiritual sight.

 
The existentialists ( like German born Nietzsche) felt there was no afterlife and therefore no reason to discern beyond one’s own pleasure seeking. Catholics, especially young Catholic students, should be taught to discern good and evil . To allow ( or encourage) an embrace of anything and everything in sexual behavior, severely alienates people from God and their personal inheritance. 

 
I have not spoken German in sixty years, but when reading about this horrid document,  “Vergessen Sie!” (Forget you!) erupted in memory. How apt. I say, “Vergessen Sie” to those heretical clergy because, in the absence of contrition, penance and catechetical restoration, God will “forget” them.  They may recognize too late at personal and general judgment the bookends of God’s revealed plan:  “Male and female, He created them.” (Genesis 1:27). Also, in Jesus Christ’s words, “Have you not read that from the beginning, the Creator made them male and female?” (Matthew 18:4)

 
Though unable to readily raise an English translation of the German final version, I realized that knowing what catechetically aberrant groups thought of this paper would be indicative of the content.  New Ways Ministry, an ally of any Catholic move to wholly embrace homosexuality and all its divergent lifestyles branches (i.e. trans) underscored the worst. (newwaysministry.org July 31, 2025) I address three areas:  1) The misleading language; 2) the deceitful background impetus for this document; and 3). The horrific scandal of elevating emotional empathy over edifying compassion that has already irreversibly injured millions of souls, some with deadly consequences, spiritually and physically.

 
Whenever any document bundles “diverse,” “love” “ and “respectful”  referencing hot button challenges, red flags pop up.  Moreover, using studies or surveys as a springboard to proposals for action indicates a false starter but is a common ploy intended to justify responses.  Consequently, one can safely conclude that the directives were already developed well prior to this actual polished paper  to the dangerous detriment of the most impressionable among us.  

 
Background

Reportedly 2,000 surveyed students,,teachers, and parents at German Catholic schools asserted that “diversity of sexual identities” is”an important task for their schools, and approximately 20% of respondents reported that they experience or have observed discrimination against LGBTQ+ students.” Supposedly, this propelled the German Catholic Bishops School Commission to provide, “food for thought, guidelines, and basic knowledge to enable them to respond to the new realities and conflicts” in gender diversity. (BF mine for emphasis of the absurd). 

 
Food for thought?… more like the forbidden fruit!  What is the need for basic knowledge when we have the fullness of knowledge in the Word?  And, Is there truly anything “new” under the sun, where the devil has continuously assaulted the bodies and souls of God’s children since the Garden of Eden?  

 
Claiming the need to provide space for all students, the document, nonetheless also includes the need to raise awareness for students and teachers, “many of whom undergo painful experiences of insecurity, doubt, discrimination, and bullying.” (BF mine because this directive is not about “the children” after all but foremost cover for the detractors from Faith.)  Within the document is the declaration that prejudice and discrimination have no place in Catholic schools, but they neglect that God’s judgment has “no beginning or end” but always was in full integrity and unassailable by his creatures.  Also the German bishops misinterpret prudent discernment for human bias.  Some Catholics may respond poorly, and even uncharitably, to those in the throes of gender confusion, but discarding the just, immutable, premise of “male and female” makes no more sense than removing traffic lights because some drivers hate or threaten the reckless ones.

 
Student deserve genuine attention over confusion of self and wise guidance; and assurances of assistance along the way of development.  Furthermore, perhaps there would be no destructive (agitated)  self identification if the sick adults had never been permitted to influence impressionable youth.  Certainly help them, too, but they have no right, let alone permission, to impose their own angst, let alone,  heretical ideas to children.  Can any one imagine intentionally hiring an active alcoholic to instruct students that shaming substance abusers is cruel, and if their developing bodies are in the same “chemical” state, they, too, should be permitted to imbibe without “judgment.” 

 
Yet, the thrust of the document is even more egregious in its final objective, indicating that the goal of an LGBTQ+ friendly school includes supporting “the wholistic personal development of children and young people.”  This provides space for them to “gain certainty about their sexual orientation and gender identify.”  To achieve this, gender-inclusive language is necessary that prohibits others from “assigning” them a specific gender.  

 
It must be emphasized that this is not just about ignoring Holy Scripture and the Magisterium less any disoriented youth may be emotionally triggered. How incredibly stunning is the brazen projection that this Catholic led movement in Catholic schools will exclude anyone who would interrupt the cementing of aberrant identities to the possible mutilation of bodies and loss of souls!  

 
More tragically, according to New Ways, the draft received approval from heads of German diocesan school departments, though admittedly there is only vague engagement with Catholic moral teaching.  Cleverly, the authors emphasize “school pedagogy and pastoral approaches” though explicitly stated there is no intention to make sexual moral judgments.  (We have to keep reminding ourselves that this is a document from the German Bishops!). Satan himself could not have composed a more demonic pedagogy, but, then, maybe he did.  Consider the following:  

 
Sexuality from the Catholic perspective is a gift from God, designed to  participate in the ultimate gift of creation, a new life, within Holy Matrimony.  Only a  heterosexual couple  can naturally accomplish this.  To teach that any other form of sexual activity is a legitimate option is a lie—straight from the Liar, that alienates persons from God. 

Further, supposedly the document with “queer” amply applied does not “seek to settle or invite debates, but rather to emphasize the ways that LGBTQ+ students and staff ought to be received, welcomed, and included. (BF mine because the document “moves” beyond teachers to the entire adult influence!)

 
New Ways continues that various German Archdioceses have already made additional strides, including the Archdiocese of Freiburg (yes, “frei” means “free” in English!) hiring of a transgender person as a religious education teacher for the first time.   This is not just godless; it is diabolical!  Classrooms from hell on Earth.

 
Speaking of God because the Bishops do not…really:

 
The Bishops’s  text states:  “Keeping the question of God alive is demonstrated first and foremost by not shielding the diversity of sexual identity from the question of God and entrusting it solely to sex education.”

 
Aside from the simple imbecility of such an inane remark, I can only pray that the authentically Catholic German flees from these schools if not Germany itself.  I understand that homeschooling in German is strictly  illegal, and, now, the Catholic schools cannot provide healthy harbor. 

 
Perhaps it is time to reacquaint myself with German, and our expert educators here may also make some inroads and partner with our fellow faithful German families.  Even if you cannot take the children out of the schools, perhaps, we can still take the atheistic schooling out of the students.
