Two Teresas and One Elisa
“We must become an instrument in Mary’s hands for her to act in us and do with us what she pleases, for the greater glory of her Son.” St. Maximilian Kolbe

Dear Mama Mary:
What a special night. What a gift. We did our consecration as a group during the mass for the Immaculate Conception. The mass was packed, which gave me a lot of joy to see so many people come to celebrate your feast day on a Monday night.
There must have been about forty of us doing the Marian Consecration. Before the final blessing, we were called to the altar, and in front of your beautiful statue, we recited our Consecration Prayer. We were then blessed with Holy Water.
I completely entrust myself to you, Mama Mary. Use me where you need me to bring souls to your Son so I can satiate His thirst.
I love you, Mama Mary.
Shortly after I wrote this letter to Mama Mary, I was invited by a friend to apply to Catholic365. She knew that I had my own blog, but she thought that I should share my writings with a larger audience. At first, I ignored her because after doing a bit of research, I found out that Catholic365 had over 200,000 followers. I did not feel qualified to write for such a large audience. But something within me kept nudging at me. Finally, I applied in February. I was accepted, and I started publishing my writings. I say “my writings” when in reality, I should call them the “Holy Spirit writings” because everything I write is inspired by Him for the glory of God. I believe that my Blessed Mother Mary used my friend to lead me to write for a larger audience to bring souls to Her Son.
A month ago, it was time to renew my Marian Consecration. There was a voice inside my head telling me that I should extend an invitation to the Catholic365 followers. I did, and as far as I know, only one person accepted the invitation, but even if my writings inspired just one soul and the consecration led him to Jesus through Mary, then it was all worth it. As we learned during the consecration from St. Maximilian Kolbe, we are now part of the “Militia Immaculata,” and we have a responsibility to bring more souls to Jesus. It begins with one simple invitation.

Dear Mama Mary:
It's Consecration Day. We made it. It has been a year since I renewed my consecration, and today, on the feast of your Immaculate Conception, I renewed it again. This is my third consecration, and each one is better than the previous one. This one was particularly special because my husband joined me. He did his first consecration. Last year, he was totally against it. He could not understand why he needed to consecrate himself to you, and no matter how much I tried to explain to him that he would not consecrate himself to you, but to Jesus through you, he did not understand. But I prayed to you for your intercession, and you touched his heart. You convinced him that doing a Marian consecration does not take away from his relationship with Jesus; on the contrary, it enhances it.
I will continue writing for Catholic365 or anywhere else you lead me to, but now that I have retired, I have more time to serve your Son. I also have my hubby on my team, so lead us where you need us to better serve your Son.
I love you, Mama Mary.
I did my first consecration on my own two years ago. Even though it’s best to do it with a group because the testimonies from others help us in our journey, if you would like to do a Marian consecration and don’t have a group to do it with, you can go to our consecration website and do it on your own. It is always recommended that the 33 days of preparation begin on a specific date so the consecration itself coincides with a Marian feast day. Therefore, the next recommended day to begin will be December 31st. This means that your Consecration Day will be on February 2nd, which is the feast of the presentation of Jesus in the Temple. If you are interested, you can find all the information and materials you need right here: www.consecrati.com/
May you have a blessed Advent and Christmas Season.
