The Golden Anniversary of the Moon Landing; Part of God's Plan for Humanity
What is your Crowning Glory beginning now?
Place yourself into the reason you have been Called, Sent, and Honored to be just like the Son of God; weak in stature, insulted as useless, and even made to suffer; in order that others may become crowned one day themselves!
That is the very premise of what Christmas is all about; a man weak in human stature, constantly put down as a dreamer with no promise, and nailed to a cross to die and become one more step of God’s Grace; to forgive our relentless clinging to pleasure and greed that are two elements of evil that will destroy our souls unless we reach out to the Man that is on the Cross of Mercy to those who accept Christ on this planet of evil.
We are midway through Advent and like the flowers that once bloomed in Spring we are waiting for the Son of God to arrive with hope and a peace for those who believe in heaven for those who seek a generous favor of holiness and righteousness that can only come through the Cross of Christ that redeemed us.
During Lent we pray and surmise the sacrifice we share with Christ for sin. With Advent we sing the praise of our redemption that is found in the arms of a baby who is the KIng of the world and the Savior who will die for us in spite of our failures; this is why he comes to us in humility.
The days ahead bring signs of joy, sounds of praise, and a reason to hold our heads high with the promise of everlasting life because our Creator loves us so much that no other element of life will satisfy the longing of a heart. Picture the bells of St. Mary’s ringing with glee, listening to the choirs of children announcing the new-birth of Christ, feeling the presence of peace that begins with the thousands who waited and found “Whose Child is this.”
To open a present on Christmas morning sends chills upon a child of ours. But when God opened the world to his Son the chills of unbelief will be felt by those who waited and found blessings they never knew would be theirs as well.
For the loved one we adore and promise so much will be the present each of us can give. For the people that God also loves and adores, the present he gives us is wrapped with shepherds and Kings while Mary, Joseph, and each of us look on. This is the present that is always given and we shall hold its priceless treasure; a life given so we can come home to be with him.
