Here is a new contemporary hymn celebrating the One who came as a baby to bring the dawn of our salvation.

Lo, the Dawn of Man's Salvation
Darkest night of solemn season,
Man in broken sinful state.
Separation, sin, and treason,
Sealed by Satan’s cruel hate.
In the midst of trial and sorrow,
Held in bonds of our design.
Seeking hope for man’s tomorrow,
Waiting here for heaven’s sign.
Solemn promise, soul’s restoring,
Brilliant radiance fills the sky.
Infant child the hosts adoring,
Now in perfect love draws nigh.
Born this night in humble stable,
Offers hope with sweetest sigh.
Soon to spread the wedding table,
Infant King, our God Most High.
Shepherds now this child defending,
His affection never ending.
Our redemption he is bringing,
Angels now in heaven singing.

Sleeping still in stable lowly,

Sovereign Savior, gift of love.
Rescued us from hellish danger,
