Here is a new contemporary hymn celebrating the One who came as a baby to bring the dawn of our salvation.

In a stable, One so mild.
Come to liberate our souls,
You whose love and grace consoles.

Leave your throne to come to earth.
Let us lift our hearts and sing,
For your awesome holy birth.
Let us kneel before the One,
Who in perfect peace came down.
Love poured out, the only Son,
Who surrendered heaven’s crown.
Come new Moses bring the law,
Lead us to the Promised Land.
Come with holy fear and awe,
Part the waves with mighty hand.
Come to walk the highest hill,
All our storms your love to still.
Radiant Son whose glory shines,
Show your worth in holy signs.
Come Yeshua, infant King,
You who came in poverty.
Love to sinful man you bring,
Died for sin upon the tree.

And to mortal flesh so cling.

You our precious infant King.
Come Oh branch of Jessy’s tree,
From our bondage set us free.
One whom prophets once foretold,
Perfect plan to now unfold.

Holy staff and rod you bring.
