Will The circle be unbroken?
Tonight, December 24th, our King arrives. Born in a stable with the light of a bright star looming above. Illuminated by the Heavens opening, so that all there may watch. Watch as the Virgin, in all completion, fulfills the words, "for tonight, a Savior is born". The first beat of His Heart will be heard tonight. The first glimpse of God's Son will appear, to start His earthly journey.
Tonight is a great night of abundance of Graces. Not only for us, but for all whom we love. Living or deceased. Tonight the Holy Souls in Purgatory are enriched greatly by our prayers for them, like never before. Tonight, holds great Grace for a weary world. A weary soul. A lost friendship. A troubled heart. All can find Peace, who this night, asks earnestly for answers and relief. For release. For surrender.
Christmas Eve can be blinded by noise and lights and tinsel. But if you push aside all of that, you will find a quiet, serene and Holy setting. Where a baby lies quietly and a woman and a man kneel in Awe and Adoration in amazement at a true miracle. Where even the animals are bowing their heads in respect at this little baby. Emmanuel.
Tonight, Christmas Eve, tell God your troubles, your fears, your hopes, your desires. Make sure it is done with a clean heart. A sincere heart. Ask God for the grace to change your cold heart into a warm heart that beats in unison with His. For tonight, beats the first of the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger. Jesus. So in uniting our heart with His, He watches lovingly and listens attentively. His Grace's are in abundance for those who listen for His "heartbeat".
Tonight is very important for the souls who have left us. Waiting in Purgatory for their release to rejoice in Heaven on this Most Holy solemn night. Pray for them and they will forever be grateful.
Yes. Let us not forget, amid all of the wrapping paper, all of the noise and clatter of voices, amid all of the toasts that glasses are raised to. That Christmas Eve, tonight, Salvation was born. Tonight we see the fulfillment of a young Virgins "yes". We see a family, who will forever be remembered as "Holy" and a child born to the world out of pure Love.
Break the chains O God that binds us to this world. For tonight a Savior is born. Come baby Jesus, come.
