In his last diocese, Bishop Hicks' chancellor TRIED to marry another man!

With Christmas being tomorrow & the Feast of the Holy Family being this Sunday, this news item is especially revolting!

As a matter of justice, Catholics deserve answers to these questions put forth by Complicit Clergy (https://www.complicitclergy.com/2025/12/22/bishop-hicks-former-diocesan-chancellor-marries-boyfriend/) BEFORE BISHOP HICKS ASSUMES HIS RESPONSIBILITIES IN NEW YORK:

1. "1.When did Hicks learn that Salvato was an active homosexual?  Did he know (or even suspect this fact) when Salvato was initially hired in 2021? If so, why did Hicks proceed in hiring Salvato?

1. 2. Is Hicks concerned about the eternal salvation of Salvato's soul?  What spiritual counseling (if any) did Hicks offer to try to have Salvato turn away from his mortal sin?

1. 3.Did Salvato voluntarily leave his position as chancellor or did Hicks ask him to resign?

1. 4.Did Salvato's "wedding" ceremony take place in a Catholic Church?  Did a Catholic priest participate in the ceremony?

1. 5.Has Salvato been barred from receiving Holy Communion in the diocese?

Why is it so hard for bishops to understand that they themselves are contributing to the Church's continuing shrinking?
