PART TWO: The End Times From the heart of Jesus to our Hearts
Touching Verses Feeling
Eileen Renders
Although these words are often used interchangeably, their meanings are not exactly the same, and depend on the context in which they are used, and to properly identify how they should be interpreted.
Feeling – According to Oxford Language, feeling is an emotional state or reaction. A belief, especially a vague or irrational one. Or, showing emotion or sensitivity
Touching – Arousing strong feelings of sympathy, appreciation, or gratitude. Concerning, or about.
Therefore, in expressing our faith, one could say, our faith is certainly our belief. This is our feeling. Whenever we think about God in a way that inspires us or stimulates our sense of gratitude toward God, we might share how God has touched us.
Furthermore, when God touches us and inspires and motivates us, we move in a direction that is a result of God's touch within us. Within this emotional state or realization that we have been touched by God, we are inflamed with a true passion, gratitude, and motivated to share our experience of having been touched by God.
How do we know for certain that God is inspiring us? Our Creator, God, is the only one who can claim perfection. When we are inspired to do good and to serve God, it is our feeling of belief in Christ. When we are called to serve others for the sake of glorifying God,
Without God in us, and we in Him, we are isolated from all that is God, and we most likely are not a temple for the Lord, as we are in sin.
When we remain free of sin and love God above all, we are a living Temple for Christ, and He is in us, as we are in Him.
All things in life have a wide expansive range, such as light and dark, high and low, up and down, good and evil.
This is a lesson to remind us, always take the high road, regardless of how difficult or what we might erroneously believe we might be losing. This is so, because when we lose God, we have lost everything we were born for.
