New Christmas Hymns - Christmas Brings the Joy of Heaven

Here is a new contemporary Christmas hymn, shouting the brilliance of heaven bursting upon the earthly stage, a celebration of the birth of Jesus in a song of praise!

From the album, “We Have Seen the Dawning Light,” a collection of 10 soulful contemporary Christian Christmas melodies. These songs are Incarnational poetry, giving praise to the Savior who has loved us to the full and saved us from our sins!

Christmas Brings the Joy of Heaven

Snow is gently falling, hope so sweetly calling,

Gracious spirit hovers in the air.

Light our fear dispelling, message so compelling,

Christ our saving story now to share.

Sparkling lights are shining, hearts are now aligning,

Love and laughter, joy and peace abound.

Christmas season rising, Eden now reprising,

Let your holy anthems now resound.

Son is given, child is born,

On this holy Christmas morn.

Angels chorus, we receive,

He the One our hearts believe.

Raise your voices, to the child,

To our God in flesh so mild.

Bow in reverence, seek his peace,

Let your sin and sorrow cease.

In the fullness of the ages, God in flesh has now appeared,

Baby Jesus sleeping still upon the straw.

All the prophesees unfolding, he the holy One revered,

Let us worship Christ in wonder, love, and awe.

Christmas brings the hope of heaven, sets our steps along the way,

For the Son came down from heaven to the earth.

As we celebrate the meaning of salvation’s dawning day,

Let us praise the Lord for this our Savior’s birth.

Heart now sings with gladness, no more pain or sadness,

Now the ancient story is retold.

Sleeping in the manger, God our holy stranger,

Such a sweet salvation to behold.

Marvel at the wonder, sky is filled with thunder,

Angel hosts sing forth in joyful praise.

Herald child so lowly, Holy, Holy, Holy,

Shepherd King to lead us all our days.
