Our Souls will Sparkle Like Fine Crystal so Clear
The Days of Waiting have come and upon us is the Lord of Forgiveness
As with any result of a final curtain we all will stand and cheer the actors that pleased our desire to share in the presentation given for us. With the Nativity over and the shepherds being the first to adore the Christ of God, each of us in turn will spend the rest of our lives remembering the child who will become the Paschal Lamb and give his life for our salvation.
This is the premise that should hold our attention to just what this birth really means as we put away the makings of celebration and look instead to a new year that promises more than fireworks and champagne.
Any student who in some manner studies the Sacred Scriptures and absorbs the teaching from the ancient prophets will understand that a one-time event which was initiated by God does not end as a closing act of a stage play. The story we all must adhere with is the reason that Christ stepped away from his seat in glory with his Father and the Holy Spirit and assumed a human nature that guarantees our salvation. What we just experienced with the Christmas spectacular acknowledgment of the hope that completed our expectations is the first chapter of the premise of when we all shall be the invited guests to a banquet that is being prepared for you and me.
Each day that awaits all of us is already being written on our hearts and is sealed with the Blood of Jesus Christ as the payment needed to fulfill the contract that God presented to us; sending the evil in the world and its promoter-Satan- into the everlasting realm of Hell!
Just a few days since we knelt before the crib of eternal sanctity to the challenge of securing righteousness and holiness that are both within reach of sinners who believe all the expectations the prophecies of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, and many others who in great hope of a Savior who is the Messiah; Christ the Lord.
Post-Christmas Truth is the gift we all received and the grace we will get through our faith in a God who is Truth himself.
In case anyone does not grasp the true meaning of the Virgin Birth of the Savior the Cross of Christ is the total answer of how God will pick us up and carry our drooping hearts into the gates of Paradise.
And indeed, we have been condemned justly, for the sentence we received corresponds to our crimes, but this man has done nothing criminal. Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” “Amen, I say to you, today, you will be with me in paradise.” (Lk 23: 41 - 43).
These are the very words from our Christmas celebration that should be heard as we enter our own time of reflection on the birth of mercy from Christ.
